Student Support

A counselor at Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School serves the students by maintaining contact with many outside agencies to provide access to a wide range of services. The counselor provides an extensive program that stresses education, prevention and recovery. Various group and individual counseling opportunities exist for our students.

Our counselor, Ron Kills Warrior, knows well the important role education plays in the lives of our students. An alumnus of Red Cloud Indian School, he is the only counselor on the reservation who teaches study skills to upper elementary school students along with life skills for students in all grade levels.
